What is Refunded to You When You Return the Phone

• Unused consumption.
  • If you use less than the amount you requested be credited to the phone, then the residual is refunded, less 5 euros.
    For example:
    • You request that 20 € be credited to the phone, and pay that amount for calling credit.
    • You receive a phone with 27 € credit.
    • You bring it back with 22 € credit (either because you used only 5 € , or because you recharged it yourself, and brought it up to that amount).
    • 10 € of consumption charges will be refunded.
  • No refund is made if you bring back the phone with a higher calling credit than it had when you took it out.
  • If you use more than your requested credit amount, actual use will be charged.
• Security Deposit. If this was paid by credit card, the 3% card charge is not refunded.
• The difference between rental paid, and time the phone was actually held, if any (at least 24 hours’ notice is required to return a phone in advance of its planned return date, otherwise one days’ rental charge applies).

To Memorize a Number

• Press the bottom of the big central button, to come to the “Directory.”
• Enter the name of the number you wish to record.
• Enter the number. If the number is within France, it is a 10-digit number beginning with a zero.

If a phone number is recorded under the name “other,” it corresponds to another Blue Marble rental phone.

To dial a memorized number, push the bottom of the center button to get to the directory, then scroll to the number and hit the green “dial” button.


To Check Remaining Credit

Dial #123# and then the green “dial” button. Your remaining credit will be received by SMS (you will need to scroll to the top of the message to see it).


To Retrieve and Manipulate Voice Messages

• To retrieve: dial 888 and then the green “dial” button.
• To erase: dial “3” while the message plays, or while the nice lady offers you your options (in French) afterwards.
